Wendy Bachmeier

My dad says artists just think differently, and I believe that's true. I can't look at a beautiful scene or picture without thinking, 'How would I paint that?'" Wendy Bachmeier has been doing art all of her life, thanks to the support of her talented mother and many wonderful teachers and sponsors. She has a simple realistic style that echos the beauty that God created in nature. Wendy began as a watercolor artist in 2002. In 2016, she got her MA in art therapy, learning all media forms (oils, acrylics, pastels, mixed media, journal making, printing, sculpting). Currently, she teaches art classes at Gypsy Junk in Sisters and in her home studio. Her work is displayed at Sisters Community Church and sold at Gypsy Junk.
