Lynn specializes in street scenes and landscapes and her style is best described as impressionistic. Her preferred medium is oil painted on linen and mounted on panel, although canvas is often used for larger commission pieces.

Each painting begins with an under-painting using light and dark tones. The purpose is to create an initial composition while conveying intended mood, shadows and values that will carry forward as the painting progresses toward completion.
