Ken Merrill

Canyon Creek Pottery is a working pottery studio and adjoining gallery that features the functional pottery made by Kenneth Merrill. Ken has been a potter since 1983 were he was first introduced to clay in his high school pottery class in Portland Oregon. In 1990 he moved to Central Oregon where he worked for a local Bend, Oregon pottery studio. In 1998 he moved to Sisters, Oregon where he now has a studio and gallery. Ken makes a wide selection of handmade pottery, each piece is hand thrown on a potter's wheel then fired in a kiln to 2400 degrees where it becomes stoneware. All of his pottery is made of the finest clays available. Ken specializes in handmade dinnerware sets, lamps, sinks and functional pottery.
