Constance Chandlee

I moved here last year from Soquel/Santa Cruz, California to Sisters with my husband and 2 dogs.

While there, I first expressed my artistic skills in sewing. My wearable art and excellence in sewing won 4 nation-wide 1st prize awards, 1 national Best of Show, 1 world-wide award, and was featured in 4 Pfaff Sewing Machine trade magazines, and once being honored and featured on their front cover.

I found my new artistic skills while I was a board member of “Friends of Watsonville Animal Shelter” after starting up and running a spay/neuter program for dogs, cats, and rabbits for 7 years. Wanting to raise more funds for our animal medical program, I wanted to know if my artistic skills could create watercolor dog portraits for people and ended up compiling some of them into my self-published inner

growth family book. My dog portraits were featured in numerous local events and advertisement announcements and grew recognition for myself. One of my portrait commissions was for the Oakland Raiders quarterback Jim Plunkett’s family, for his deceased son’s dog “Gotti”, who was also on 2 of the Ceasar Milan TV shows.

Since I arrived in Sisters, I have opened myself to acrylic painting and spread myself within 3 fun expressions: 1) As I love a splash of color in my white and tan home, I found a new love for abstractly painting flowers. I love bringing nature into my home with plants and my art work. 2) I also love the total freedom of abstract painting with color with no image in mind, and 3) I love creating Sigils (symbols) for programming/visioning what I want in my life, and for others. • A “Vision Board” in short form, called a Sigil. I help create a Sigil for a client for an intended goal for one’s life, and infuse the intention into the artwork so it becomes an abstract piece of Artwork. The meaning of the message and power is meant for the owner of the piece, and hopefully for those who view it will also gain its’ benefits on a subconscious level. This is artwork to bring about positive change into one’s life.

A Sigil is a technique to condense an intention or desired outcome into a symbol for the conscious, and into the subconscious where doubts and beliefs are not restricted. I activate the symbol while painting and again at its time of finishing. I give instruction with the piece for the buyer on how to more powerfully activate the Sigil with intention and movement of the hand over the symbol/s so as to receive its bounty into one’s life. Each continued glance at the artwork then sends messages to the person on different levels so as to receive its desired outcome.

I assist individuals so as to create positive symbols for themselves, or their children, and place that symbol onto canvas. Symbols can be for confidence, health, courage, angel protection, abundance, love, success, jobs, and attracting whatever one wants into their life.
